Il Pizzaiolo Wood-fired Pizza is the brainchild of Brooklyn born Peter Lostritto, whose Italian family heritage originated from Naples and Bari, Italy.

 

Since the inception, our focus has been on a truly Naples style pizza, wood-fired, flour imported from Italy and all made in house with traditional methods.

 

For over 11 years we’ve served local communities, gathered thousands of positive reviews, and even ranked as a top ten pizzeria in the Sacramento metro.

Oh my goodness. The food is amazing. I had the Italian Sandwich with mortadella and salami. Sooooo good. I also ordered the margarita Pizza. Just yummy. We also got the canolis for desert. So happy to have found this place! Casual vibe and lovely downtown Loomis location but the star is the food!! Pizza was amazing, spaghetti was delish too...and even the Caesar salad. Bravo to chef. Simple menu but the quality of ingredients was noticeable. Finished with an amazing homemade tiramisu. Very friendly and capable service. Thank you !!!
